Commodity Trader Opportunities for a Leading Agri-Business
Exceptional Remuneration Packages + Benefits on Offer
Based Eastern Regions
Are you looking for an opportunity to play a hugely pivotal role in guiding one of the UK’s most progressive Agri-Businesses towards new heights of expansion, collaboration and customer influence?
Poised for major growth, our client has an outstanding financial standing backed by a strong balance sheet and trades a significant amount of the combinable cropping throughout East Anglia and the Midlands. The business is privately owned and has been built on strong ethical foundations and family values which are still echoed today, listening to what the customer wants rather than assuming what they may need.
Due to ongoing expansion and growth, the business is looking to source a select number of Commodity Traders to join their hugely progressive and driven team. Reporting to the Group Board they will work closely with the senior leadership team with the expressed aim of profitable acquisition of new business and increased trading relationships with existing Group customers.
The successful candidates will be either very experienced in the UK Agricultural Supply Chain and will have a demonstrated record of Commodity Trading at a senior level as well as being a proven communicator….or will be in a junior role and looking for opportunities to “shine”. For either level, it goes without saying that you be an excellent negotiator with a very high degree of numeracy and financial analysis skills. For more senior candidates, we would be keen to see 5 plus years trading experience and/or high level Sales Team Management experience. An excellent knowledge of UK and international markets including FOB/CIF shipping would be high advantageous as is a proven track record in the trading sectors.
On offer are exceptional remuneration packages commensurate with the position and the potential to join the Group Board for the right candidates.
