Customer Technical Manager

In committing themselves in providing a supportive role to growers, whilst understanding the importance of research, development and innovation, they are able to exceed their customers’ expectations and are consequently successfully supplying major UK retailers.
Managing one of their most prestigious retail accounts, in this role you will take full responsibility for all technical areas managing relationships accordingly with the client and their growers. You will drive new product initiatives in the market, considering all options to raise standards and give a point of difference. You will also need to ensure that all suppliers meet technical and quality standards and ensure that systems are maintained all year round to the highest level.
If you are a proven technical manager from the fresh fruit sector, looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you! Proven retail experience is essential for this role as is a project management skill set to see initiatives through from beginning to end. Softer skills such as friendliness, a can do approach and the ability to communicate at all levels is as important for this role as your qualifications.
