They achieve this by three means; storing key information, assisting key decision making by capturing crucial industry data and by connecting the sectors they represent to share key ideas, benchmarking and best practice.
The Head of Marketing will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day communications and marketing activities as well as their end-to-end project management that supports the company’s ambitious growth objectives. As such you will be responsible for promoting awareness and build understanding of the Map of Agriculture brand and its model among key target audiences.
KEY ELEMENTS & BACKGROUND:
The role is to further develop and deliver a multi-channel marketing and communications programme for the company and their associated brands ensuring maximum profiling and awareness.
To be ideal for the role, you will have a strong awareness and affinity for the Agri-Business and Food sectors with a minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience in a marketing role. You will also be comfortable in a technological, new product development environment and be able to grasp new concepts quickly. Being responsible for a small team, you will ensure a co- ordinated marketing approach across digital and traditional channels. And as a unique and very forward thinking innovative business, they expect and need their marketing to reflect this.
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills are vital in order to develop and assure a great working relationship with all stakeholders. Educated to degree level or hold a relevant professional Marketing qualification will be highly advantageous. Attention to detail and being able to work efficiently and diligently is crucial. You will need to be confident presenting externally and be happy to undertake occasional long-haul travel to New Zealand, Australia and Argentina. And as you would expect, a driving licence is required for such a role.
