As such and due to expansion plans and very healthy sales, they are looking for a UK Sales Manager, to either work from home or from their offices in Suffolk.
As the UK Sales Manager you will report directly to the Commercial Director and will work with the senior management team to develop the business nationally.
Build national dealer coverage.
Support Territory Managers’ in maintaining an on-plan dealer network.
Visit dealer/business partners.
Regular communication of offers and schemes.
Train dealer staff.
Direct Sales (Areas Currently Without Dealer Coverage)
Ensure areas without dealer coverage are fully serviced and enquiries are dealt with promptly.
Lead the UK Sales team in proactively calling potential customers on the company database.
Support the Commercial Director with forecasting.
Communication with the production team.
Prepare quarterly reforecasts.
Prepare marketing brief for future products.
Monitoring and ensuring up to date Opportunities Pipeline (SalesForce software).
Ensure deals in line with business objectives (discounts).
Sales order processing. database management and maintenance
Sales Team Management
Regular communication with Territory Managers.
Weekly conference call team meetings.
Set individual objectives.
Review Territory Manager’s performance annually.
Mentor and train, where required.
Prepare and host monthly sales meetings (subject to seasonal workload).
Communicate business objectives.
Implement H&S and business procedures to ensure compliance with legislation and company processes.
Provide details on competition activity.
Organise dealer training courses.
Ensure development of the sales team using external training providers.
Prepare and deliver internal and external presentations.
Organise demonstrations, open days and shows.
Attend international, national and local events.
Support the MD and promote regional trials/testimonial farms .
Maintain budgetary control.
Ensure territory expenditure is in line with the forecast.
Sign off and first approval of subordinate expenses.
