Our clients’ hugely innovative systems aid people and businesses in the rural community with vehicle and machinery compliance. Since its release, their technology has been hugely successful and created a valuable and ever-growing client base. To assist in their progression, to the benefit of the sectors they operate in, they are now looking for an App Manager & Development Lead to lead the development of a key app and help to engage a wider audience. This is in conjunction with developing and promoting other products from their current business offering.
As the App Manager you will have daily contact with clients, troubleshooting of their issues, reporting bugs to the development team and problem-solving to work out potential issues faced by clients quickly and efficiently. Another element is contacting potential clients that would benefit from the app and following through to build a long term relationship with these clients. A crucial part of the job role will be regular virtual demonstrations and on-site visits to support the users with the technical support of the app. You will also be assisting in the development of the app, ensuring new features are scoped from client feedback, and push development to ensure effectiveness and the quality of the product being produced.
You will work as part of a great team, with a mixture of hybrid office time and home working, and travelling nationwide to visit clients on farm and estates. Support is a key factor of the job – whether this be over the phone or on email; client support is essential to development and scoping of the app as well as opportunities arising in the future. In additional, our client would look for you to establish and develop in partnerships with other organisations to explore synergies and collaborations.
What We Want to See from You:
- Business development/sales experience in ag, food, fresh produce, horticultural sectors
- Some App/software experience would be great to see
