A family run business, they have been supplying fresh herbs and leafy salads for customers from all over the UK since 2006. Based in beautiful Waveney Valley on the Suffolk/Norfolk border, close to the market town of Diss, the rich loamy soils together with the potential to irrigate their cropping means they can produce high quality produce throughout the UK season April to November for the fresh, frozen and dried markets.
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking for an individual to join them as Assistant Growing Manager.
The successful applicant will have a formal qualification in agriculture to HND or higher level. Relevant experience in a similar role would be an advantage as would having full tractor driving experience plus PA1 & PA2. An aptitude for data and recording systems as well as a practical background in production agriculture, preferably in fresh produce or crop production. The position would suit those seeking to take responsibility, build a career and work with an expanding family business.
A house, vehicle and competitive salary will be provided to the successful candidate.
