Due to their growth, they have reached a trigger point to bring in a key individual as Commercial Manager and to partner with their Sales Director to take this area of this business even further forward.
Main Duties/Responsibilities of the Role:
- Responsibility for managing and growing existing and new accounts by building strong relationships with a range of customers
- Build their clients brand across multiple agricultural and fresh produce products in line with their 5-year strategy
- Manage customer communications and develop relationships between yourself and their teams across multiple departments
- Become a trusted advisor to their customers and support them wherever possible both in short- and long-term planning
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion of your customer portfolio.
- Manage the profitability of all sales of their branded products providing regular updates to the Exec and Operational teams.
What We Want to See from You:
- Have proven experience of successfully managing accounts be that retail or/and wholesale/foodservice
- Experience in a FMCG or/and an agri-business sector
- Excellent computer literacy
- Excellent work planning, personal organisation and time management skills
- Results driven & self-motivated
- Personable manner, effective influencer, self-confident
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels, motivate others and change people’s attitudes and approaches when necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High level of integrity, accountability, and credibility
- Holding a current UK driving licence
