Our client is one of the leaders in their field, renowned for growing packing fresh produce from production mainly in the UK to supply major retailers and food service. Having a great rapport with external growers and their major customer, you will be an experienced Compliance Manager seeking to join a highly motivated technical team to continue to deliver exceptional products to their key customer.
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for developing, monitoring and improving the quality & technical compliance standards within their site, working closely with their major customer. You will also be responsible for the day to day management of best practise along with updating KPI information, ISO, BRC, HACCP and supporting new product development. Ensuring the business is in a permanent state of readiness for any audit and you will achieve outstanding results every time.
You will need to have a good technical understanding of fresh produce quality and technical compliance requirements expected by the UK retailers. Ideally you should have at least 3 years experience of working in a similar food regulatory role. You will need to understand the production function, the pressures on labour and quality as well as utilising your commercial, communication and organisational skills to enhance the retailer-specific protocols.
