We are seeking a Customer Technologist for our client who is widely recognised as being one of the most respected and leading suppliers of fresh produce. Successfully supplying UK premium retailers they have established an outstanding reputation for quality, service and a commitment to excellence.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Customer Technologist will help develop networks and streams to support innovation and market leading technical standards within the business. You will assist with 2nd and 3rd party audits to ensure that the business is audit ready, and will maintain, integrate and develop suitable standards to facility appropriate audit scores. You will act as the main contact for all day to day customer quality and technical items, and as such forge productive working relationships within the business and with customers. You will be the key point of contact for customer visits, and as such will need to ensure these visits are documented and disseminated.
This role is a fantastic opportunity and would very much suit a candidate who has recently graduated within the last 18 months. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be a real people person!! You will need to develop and maintain excellent relationships with the customer and key stakeholders (Technical Managers, Technologists, QA’s. Having an eye for detail is also essential, as you will need to ensure that customer specifications are legal, accurate and meet the business standards.
