As Divisional Managing Director, you will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the business the stakeholders the employees and the end customers. You will be responsible for making key decisions and further progressing the culture of the company. The most important aspect is that you will be a leader for this unique business….
Key responsibilities to include:
To embrace the company brand/ethos and drive new business and growth
Lead the business to new levels of achievement, including enhancing its UAE & International presence
Developing the business & commercial strategy
Management of company network & Investor relationships in the region
Staffing Plan & Team Management
Analysing and guaranteeing delivery capability
Overall performance and execution of the product area, combined with aggressive international expansion plans
Provide a thorough assessment of the current business and analysis of opportunities and gaps
Define or improve the business strategy across all functions
Make high-quality investing decisions to advance the business and increase profits
Direct line management to the board of Directors
Required Skills/Experience that we want to see:
Proven experience operating at senior level with complex Agricultural/Fresh Produce/FMCG Food Businesses with large staff numbers
Experience leading of leading a fresh food organisation is imperative, knowledge of fresh foods would be advantageous
Proven track record of delivering planned objectives, penetrating senior levels of customer organisations and developing talent for the organisation
Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance
Experience in a complex consumer facing environment with previous success managing multiple channels of trade
Considerable P&L responsibility
A track record of successful revenue growth
A natural leader with the ability to build and nurture a strong management team
