Due to continued development they are now looking to source an experienced Farm Manager to help drive further growth and development of the site through to its next stages of evolution.
Full day-to-day management a farm of this quality isn’t for the faint hearted! Compiling and maintaining budgets, including forward crop planning and technical audit management will need to come naturally to the successful individual. You will have accountability for the annual budget and create robust plans for existing operations and profitable development of the business.
You will manage full time and temporary staff effectively for optimum efficiency, while maintaining a safe environment for all. This farm never sits still, a highly progressive attitude towards growing is essential, as you will be expected to seek out and adopt new and innovative fruit growing techniques, always striving for continuous improvement in quality.
This appointment requires a strong leader with a comprehensive understanding of modern protected growing techniques and excellent team building capability.
