Position Overview: As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation, collaborating with various non-finance teams to collate, prepare, report, and analyse data. You will use your financial expertise to identify trends and insights that will drive operational focus and performance. While experience in the fresh produce industry is not mandatory, your ability to work in a detailed and disciplined manner, coupled with strong communication skills, will be crucial in aligning operational performance with financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Collaborate with operational teams to analyse financial data, identifying opportunities for improvement and growth.
- Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and presentations to facilitate decision-making processes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on operational performance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with non-finance managers to explain financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis to optimize operational processes and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Process Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or CA certification preferred).
- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance team members.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- Experience in fresh produce, food manufacturing or related sectors is a plus but not mandatory.
