They are offering you the opportunity to come and join them and build an enduring career as a key member of their Southern England forestry team in the role of Forest Manager or Senior Forest Manager, depending on experience.
The Managers are responsible for delivering professional high-quality woodland management services to existing clients together with developing and delivering other forestry-related opportunities, including woodland creation.
The role includes building sound client relationships and day to day woodland management including the preparation of client estimates, production of reports, implementation and control of work programmes and grant schemes. All this in one of the UK’s most wooded regions.

About You:
As an experienced forestry professional with a background in forestry (or other related sector), you are able to demonstrate your strong commercial acumen and ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. In addition, you’ll have:
• Strong client relationship management and team working skills.
• Good knowledge of UK forestry practice, UK Forest Standard, FC grant support and the England Countryside Stewardship schemes.
• Knowledge of mixed lowland silviculture.
• Professional membership of the Institute of Chartered Foresters or another relevant professional body. This is desirable as a Forest Manager and essential for the Senior Forest Manager role.
• Experience of working within areas of sensitive habitat and European protected Species (EPS) is beneficial
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Full UK driving licence.
