They engage in growing, sourcing, and exporting and marketing their range of agricultural and horticultural products through world class technology and a very effective and professional distribution chain. They are still a relatively young business and with over 4,000 employees working on a multi-site, multi-grower basis they are growing rapidly with a pure international reach. As such this has created a select number of new opportunities to join their highly successful business.
They are now looking for a select number of General Managers to join their fruit and arable teams in Serbia.
Key Aspect of the Roles:
You will have overall responsibility of large growing units and will be responsible for its management including crop protection, irrigation & fertigation, maintenance and deployment of machinery and all team management.
Key responsibilities:
General Administration:
Management of all permanent staff for your own growing unit
Management of casual staff
Crop Production
To manage the associated growing cycles for fruit and arable cropping
Managing all planting, spraying and harvesting elements
To manage all irrigation and fertilize elements
Maintenance of all associate equipment
All team management
Health and Safety
To maintain the standard measures of the health and safety among the farm staff and farm area.
To be part of Health and Safety committee

- Proven work experience in similar role and industry, including team management
- Decisive and a competent negotiator
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
