The Role:
The role is to lead the crop blueprint for specific cropping, including on-going R&D. All operational elements from initial layout, instigation of planting to balancing nutrients and data logging yields will fall under the remit of this individual. Leading a team of crop technicians across multiple growing sites, the challenge is to meet and surpass the required yield and quality targets to support the establishment of our client as a market leading provider of highest quality fresh produce.
The Individual:
We are looking for an experienced Vertical Farming/CEA Grower who has excellent organisational and communication skills, someone who relishes the challenge of constantly improving the standards and performance of all operational elements. The candidate must be able to demonstrate positive management experience, bringing energy, enthusiasm and creativity as well as a strong recognition of safety and food hygiene best practices.
