This newly created HR Director position provides an exciting opportunity to join their journey and to be an integral part of driving the next stage of their growth ambitions both in the UK and Internationally.
Main Elements of the Role:
- To lead the HR function in the provision of day-to-day HR support and service to Directors, Managers and colleagues of the business.
- To be the point of contact responsible for the strategic direction of the HR administration processes/procedures and the coordination of HR based activities and initiatives across the whole business.
- To manage the HR Teams in the provision of advice, in the completion of ad hoc projects and in the development and maintenance of HR policy and best practice.
- Review and develop the companies Talent recruitment process as well as all HR policies and procedures.
- Manage/recruit/train and mentor the HR team whilst providing strategic planning for the business.
What we want to ideally see from you:
- An independent, strategically minded professional who is looking for a positive challenge to make their own.
- Confident and very competent working with the main board through to field level colleagues.
- 5 -10 years’ experience in organisations that are fast growth with lots of people complexities.
- Ideally a HR background in the Fresh Produce/Fresh Food/FMCG sectors.
- Suitably qualified for an HR Director position and familiar with latest legal and contractual obligations be that now or in the near future.
- Demonstration of strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven Time management skills: Accustomed to working efficiently meeting time critical deadlines.
- Discreet, approachable, tactful and diplomatic with strong organisational and planning skills.
- Self-sufficient and resilient.
