They don’t have a preference as to your previous training and background. What is more important is the ‘can do’ mentality, with you being resilient and tenacious. You must have good attention to detail and be good at extracting information from people, packaging it and then acting thereon to the clients success and ultimately your success. There is no glass ceiling within this business and shared ownership is a possibility for the right person. They are more than happy to consider early entries to the sector as well as those with a long term proven track record. They would prefer if you are RICS qualified, but that is not a show stopper.
Modern working practices as we all know allow remote working. Although there would need to be a proportion of time in the main office based in the Lincolnshire area.
