They are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer, based in KENT who will have overall responsibility for maintaining all site equipment and facilities to a ‘World Class Standard’ ensuring safe working practices at all times. You will carry out planned & reactive maintenance work of both mechanical and electrical requirements within timescales to a high standard ensuring machine/process uptime meets business requirements
Key Areas of the Role:
Lead Safety – Accountable for ensuring existing site Risk assessments and method statements are followed at all times and will pro-actively contribute to risk reduction within dept.
Compliance – All project work and installations will comply with British Standard legislation. Tasks to be completed and handed over in a clean and safe manner at all times.
Development – Drive and develop site continuous improvement to improve efficiency and site performance.
Manage People – Coach and support seasonal worker support team to maintain high site standards. Coach and mentor site apprentices to ensure all support and development needs are met.
Process – Ensure all inventory & stock control is held and maintained to a high standard ensuring all parts are readily available when required. Form part of a call out process to ensure 24/7 site support.
Communication – First class communication is required with all key stakeholders & customers including workshop team.
Performance – Performance will be measured against ste KPIs each year through quarterly reviews.

- 18th Edition or equivalent qualification required
Working hours will be on a rota basis and could operate between the following shift patterns: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 / 08:00-17:00 with the requirement to be on call one in three weekends.
