Our Redfox client is a leading fresh sector business in the USA. The Company operates from a state-of-the-art facility in Texas. As a business they have assembled a world-class team with decades of growing and operations experience.
Due to ongoing growth, they are now looking to source a senior Production & Operations Manager to assist them in their ongoing positive development.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent to the position will play a critical cross-functional operational and production role. Significant upward career potential to take on greater leadership responsibilities and project work. The position reports to CEO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Take management and leadership responsibility for workstreams across production, operations, and agronomy functions. Works hand-in-hand with the Head Grower, Chief Commercial Officer, Facilities Manger and CEO
- Assumes overall leadership for harvesting and other critical operational teams and coordination between those functions
- Drive continuous improvements in key operational KPIs, accountable for delivery of operational budgets
- Champions, leads, and manages operational initiatives including on-going capital projects, evaluation of new equipment, systems, and technologies
EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EDUCATION
We are seeking an ambitious individual with the following skillsets and personal characteristics:
Skills required
- 10 years+ in a senior operational role in a relevant industry ie. fresh produce or mushroom industry experience preferred
- Highly motivated and passionate about operations, agronomy, and management
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
- Able to think strategically, analytically and creatively
- A quick learner who is inquisitive by nature
- Spanish language abilities viewed positively

- High physical and intellectual energy and strong sense of urgency
- Unquestioned honesty and integrity
- Flexible, straightforward and prepared to work the hours needed to succeed in the role
Education
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
