Managing a range of retail accounts, in this role you will take full responsibility for all technical areas managing relationships accordingly with the client and their growers. You will drive new product initiatives in the market, considering all options to raise standards and give a point of difference, whether it is variety choice, carbon footprint, ethical standards, green initiatives and so forth. You will also need to ensure that all suppliers meet technical and quality standards and ensure that systems are maintained all year round to the highest level.
If you are a proven technical manager from the fresh produce sector, looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you! Proven retail experience is essential for this role, as is a project management skill set to see initiatives through from beginning to end. Softer skills such as friendliness, a can do approach and the ability to communicate at all levels is as important for this role as your qualifications.
