This highly ambitious business now needs a very capable and practical individual that will pro-actively assist the lead Growing Manager with day-to-day responsibility for watercress production areas managing all details of the operation as required. You will consider all options to raise standards, increase productivity, crop hygiene, manage multi-disciplined team and hit budget. You will need to manage a specialist crop so specific hands-on experience of baby-leaf or hydroponics would be an advantage but not a prerequisite. The MOST important element will be your attitude and aptitude! You will need to have the appetite to be a leading contributor to a farming business that have plans to grow significantly within the next few years.
